I read your article, “Why I quite zoloft to get pregnant”. I’ve been on 450 mg of Wellbutrin but my pharmacologist wants me to go down to 300 mg and add Zoloft. I am 42 yrs old and considering pregnancy this next year or two. Did your doctor tell you how long after stopping zoloft that it would be out of your system?

Hey! Funny post. Sorry we didn’t get to see you guys. My friend is pregnant and needed my help — I felt bad leaving. I think just having me there was comforting. But I’m coming back up in a month and we can plan ahead.

As for your post, Harper didn’t get adventurous with textures until 13 months. You just have to be patient. I thought we’d never graduate from ultra puree textures, but then around 12 months he just stopped eating purees. He didn’t want them anymore, and then I was scrambling to actually cook — and cook something with an acceptable texture.

Just be patient. He’ll come around in time.

Andy is so cute!!!!

I love his haircut! Harper needs a haircut just about every month or he looks overgrown. The thing is…I was going to hold back on it way back when but he could barely see — the hair was so long it was always in his eyes. When I had bangs as a kid, I used to hate the feeling of my bangs rubbing against my eyelids. So I assumed it probably bugged him too. And since he was moving around so much (and soon to be) walking, I wanted him to have a clear line of vision. But all that dorky mom stuff aside, I just love how he looks all clean cut and boy-like after his haircut. And Harper is the opposite of Andy — he just sits there and acts like he’s getting massaged.

We had to answer many queries as to how our “little fella” was doing before Julia’s hair started to grow in. She, essentially, had a red wiffle for the first year and a half of her life.
